Who’s Who

Garth is an engineer with the Aurora Fire Department. He is a volunteer DJ on KFFR community radio most Mondays, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.  using the handle DJ-GR. He plays all types of music and has an extensive music collection of his own.

Bethany handles emergency calls for the the Rocky Mountain Poison Center. She also has regular gig at KFFR. She reads children’s stories every Saturday morning at 8:00, under the handle “Mable May,” which was her grandmother’s name. Bethany likes to watch Agatha Christie on BritBox in her spare time.

Chance is a junior at Willamette University, majoring in Environmental Science. He is going to spend four months in Tokyo, as part of his minor in Japanese. He’s currently working as a lift operator at the Winter Park ski area. In his spare time Chance likes to ski, ride his motorcycle and explore new places.

Jason is a realtor with Your Castle realty. He is currently studying for his insurance license. In his spare time, Jason visits community facilities with his therapy dog, Polaris. 

Erika is the owner and creative chef for her company, Olive Leaf Catering. She is the mother of ten children and grandmother to Enzi, age 3 and Lyra, age 2.  She is a soloist  in the choir at Cherry Hills Community Church. 

Devon lives in Long Beach with her dog, Lexi. She works for the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California in Little Tokyo in Downtown LA. As a non-capital habeas attorney, Devon brings suit against the state government for violating her clients’ state and federal trial rights, and Devon takes pride in holding the government accountable for following the law when they seek a criminal conviction. In her spare time, Devon likes to travel and keep up with her many friends.

Tyler is currently attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she is studying for her M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration) degree and creating her own non-profit business. She has no spare time.

Connor recently graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, as a journalism major with an emphasis on Sports Journalism. He is currently working at Target, and would love to find a job in journalism. He enjoys playing guitar in his spare time.

Max is a senior at Cherry Trail High School. He graduates in May, 2025. Max is a baseball player, a good student, a hard-worker, and everyone’s friend. His favorite high school class is auto mechanics.

Grandpa Jim is a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the State of Colorado as a locksmith. He previously owned his own home maintenance company ~ The Property Connection. He has lived in North Aurora for fifty years. In his free time, he likes to watch movies at home.

She was a social worker for almost thirty-years. After retiring she taught piano lessons. Then, on a whim, she moved to Mexico, bought a big house, and rented rooms to students and tourists from around the world. She came home because she missed being with her family. Grandma Lynda likes to keep busy. In her spare time she plays the piano.
